Everyone knows that to be a shearer one needs a sheep dog, well so thought Bob, Bungo and Ratso, well that was until Shaun the Shearer arrived on the farm with his Sheep Sheep named Pete.
Pete was a bit different from the sheep dogs, while the sheep dogs pushed around the sheep Pete was polite and courteous and sheep really liked him. Shaun was a bit different too, he loved shearing and was sensational at his job, which is a lot like being a hair-cutter for sheep. Infact, Pete and Shaun were so good at their job that all the other sheep lined up for their business, this annoyed the other shearers who asked both Pete and Shaun to leave.
Out of work Pete and Shaun come up with a plan to start their own Sheep Salon, cutting the wool of the sheep of the area, and they were so good at their job that all the sheep lined up for their new “doo.” Shaun and Pete’s Salon became so popular that even the sheepdogs came for their haircuts, but it’s been such a success that they can’t do it all on their own…
Fantastically fun this well illustrated and enjoyable story can be appreciated by people of all ages, you’ll fall in love with all of the characters and… who knows, you may get a great idea for a haircut as well…
I’ve also used this book alongside the story of the Good Shepherd.
