This cute, yet rather odd story of Norman and Brenda follows two unlikely people who live unremarkable lives, lives that seem insignificant and boring when compared to the lives that others lead. Up until their 37th birthday they have remained lonely, uninspired, bored, always looking at the green grass on the other side.
Never falling in love, (only falling on things) Brenda and Norman’s lives are without things that make them happy, without love, without something or someone to love. Now growing Older both Norman and Brenda are finding themselves attached to sadness, clouds and puddles follow them around making them always cold and wet.
Both characters are looking for the love of their life, neither seem to find them, not on the way to or from work, not at work, not at all and they wonder how they could have ever got to 37 and not have found them yet, instead they both try to have pets, but that leads to nowhere as well.
Moving on to 38, 39 and 40 neither Brendan or Norma’s lives change much, they’d tried a number of pets and tried to meet people in a number of ways, advertised for friends on the walls of shops, met blind dates that failed and lived an unremarkable life.
That is until they met each other…
A nice and weird story about two people searching for “that someone” who will love them and who they can love in return. It’s a story about relationships, people, friendship
